Style Story: Feelin' Rockstar

If you follow me on Instagram, you might know that I've been doing a super fun #StyleMeMarch closet remix challenge that the lovely & adorable Hilary of Dean Street Society puts together. Each day there's a theme to give you inspiration to see your closet in a new light and piece together an amazing outfit for your day. At times, I can put together an outfit in no time, while at other times I am in total struggle bus mode. But I love it! It's supposed to be a challenge! Here's this month's challenge:

I'm sharing one of my favorite looks yet. I put together days 6, 7, and 9 to create this look because it seemed like a combination I would never dream up for my usual day to day outfits. Yup, if anyone likes style problems to solve, it's me! When I think LBD, it's always been "fancy, formal, classic, and girly" since that's how I view my trusty LBD. With this look, I was challenged to create an edgier look with pieces that create a juxtaposition but actually look amazing together. Opposites attract, I guess.

Oh yea, the "oldie but goodie" of this look would be my violin, the star of this look.
