STYLE STORY: PASTEL DREAMS

Pastels make me so happy. I love when the world starts bursting in pastels around Easter time.

It brings back those happy memories of going to Marshall Field's or Carson's when I was younger to pick out my Easter dress. Aka. the most important fashion decision of the year. I had to have the frilliest dress since that was my style back then. The more bows and florals, the better.

While God doesn't need us to dress up for Him at church, I still like the tradition of dressing up a little for Easter. And I'm still sticking to florals and bows, but in a more grown up style.

I got the chance to take these photos when I visited Atlanta last month. How fun are these walls! I'm glad I had so many pastel backdrops to photograph with.

What are your Easter plans this year and what do you plan to wear?

PS. If you are in Chicago and don't know where to attend Easter service, check out Park Community Church! There are 9 locations across the city!

  1. I absolutely LOVE this look for Easter! I've been struggling with my Easter outfit this year because I just can't find the right pastel mixture in the skirt to be "Easter-y" but not so eastery that I can't wear it for anything else, but you nailed it! I'm pinning this...
