Happy Christmas Eve!!

Does anyone else feel like Christmas crept up so quickly this year? Perhaps I just feel that way because the past month was extremely hectic & sleepless, but incredibly exciting! And now I am so thankful to have time off from school to be with loved ones and have a moment away from the busyness of life to ponder the true Reason for this season. It is because of Jesus that I can live out a story full of hope, joy & for a greater purpose!

Today's outfit is one that I put together with Christmas in mind. This year I thought I'd wear something different for Christmas. I decided to stick to the traditional Christmas colors, but with some fun prints mixed in! Leopard print has been my favorite print to wear this season. It's funny how a print you kind of (really) disliked before grows on you overtime - kind of like a vegetable you hated as a kid grows on you when you get older! And it just so happens that my new print obsession goes well with the classic tartan print I've always loved.

STYLE STORY: CAPE COAT + STYLE TO INSPIRE LINKUP

Happy Monday! Hope you all had wonderful & restful weekends! Mine may not have been restful, but it was packed full of adventures doing the things I love with some of the people I love! To sum it up, I got to accompany a friend on the violin at her Spoken Word gig, attend The Art of Fashion Show with a bestie, celebrate life at a childhood friend's baby shower, watch Evan Savage (& my sister on violin) rock the stage at House of Blues, and capped it off perfectly with leading worship at church which is one of my favorite ways to use this gift of music. All in all, I'm loving this season of life!

Speaking of seasons, when I visited New Jersey last week, it was Fall weather perfection. We savored every moment by spending a lot of time outdoors. For the trip I packed my favorite wool sweaters, my riding boots & my cape coat for extra warmth. I've been so happy to give my cape coat some extra mileage this year since most years it's been either too cold or too hot to wear it. But this past month has been perfect for cape & sweater weather!
