I hope all my styling tips this week have been helpful & given you ideas of how to put together what's in your wardrobe and/or the new investment pieces you plan to buy. Check out tips #1, 2, 3, & 4, if you haven't yet! If you've made it this far, I think it's time to make things trickier but more fun!
Tip #5: Mixing patterns can go all kinds of wrong (oops! guilty here!), but with practice, it becomes easier. With trial & error I've learned that, while it's okay to mix multiple bold patterns in a magazine photoshoot, it's more difficult to wear it in reality. The trick is to start with one loud printed item and pair it with a simpler pattern. Loud prints are usually those with multicolors, non-repeating patterns, etc; while simpler patterns typically translate as two-toned stripes, polka dots, etc.
Hope this helps! And remember, "One of the most important responsibilities in life is to care about others, smile at them, and be a friend to the friendless." (James Dobson)
