STYLE STORY: FALL PATTERNS

Pattern mixing! Again!

I've been on a pattern mixing kick lately, but it's just too fun! Plus, practice makes perfect.

There are still many moments that I don't feel completely comfortable walking out the door with a certain mix that I've concocted. Thankfully I have a sister and friends who are willing to put up with my picture texts. They willingly lend me a a second or third opinion to help renew my styling confidence. (Love you, friends!)

One trick that I've learned through experience is to pick one or two colors from one piece that you want to carry through your look. Then build from there.

For this look, I started with my dress that has blue, purple and white colors. I chose to carry the blue and white through. And added to my look with those colors in mind.

Hopefully this tip will give you a boost of confidence when you mix your patterns!
